Speaking to Glad over the years, she was not impresed by her name. All the other sisters names were much nicer, she said. So I wrote her this poem. Gladys What's in a name You say with yours, you are not keen When there's Sarah May then Josephine, Christobel; where on Earth did they find that. She must have been drawn out of a hat. The Marie, that's pretty too. then along came me; another girl called Sue. So here we go with yours, you must not be sad because whereever you have been in life, you have aways been GLAD. It proves no matter what the name, it's who you are; having a sister is a blessing. You have always been a shining star.
